This 10 year old native of Australia was delighted to catch the biggest AND smallest fish of the day on her very first kayaking trip.
Pam S. caught this beauty on the donated trip she won at the KEDT Auction. It was her first time kayak fishing. We hope she will be back for more!
Captain Steve and David S. had a slow start on this day, but it turned out to be a great day of fishing for both of them. David took home enough redfish fillets to feed his family and friends that night.
The wind and weather have made fishing tough throughout February and March. But it IS possible to find and catch nice reds. These were caught in Shamrock area. This day the smiles were bigger than the fish, but not more plentiful. lots of fish were caught and released, and enough taken home for a memorable seafood supper after a memorable and fun day kayak fishing.

What a fight this baby put up. It took Mike S. almost an hour to land this 25 lb. Jack Crevalle. Captain Steve landed one just a little larger the same day. Check out the photos for the entire fight start to finish here.

Dolphin Surfing
These two pelicans had fun riding the wake of dolphins feeding up close to the shore. You can see the dolphin fin breaking right between the two birds.
